A placement combines a chart function with the sign or life area where it operates. Sun in Aries, Moon in Scorpio and Venus in Gemini answer different questions, so this index is organised by planetary job rather than as one undifferentiated keyword list.
Each sign page gives a focused interpretation, chart modifiers and a way to verify the placement. A page is one layer of a birth chart, not a complete personality verdict.

How to read a placement
A placement combines a chart function with the style and setting through which it operates. Keep the layers separate before bringing them back together in a full chart.
- Planet = function
- What is operating: identity, emotion, thought, attraction, action, growth or structure.
- Sign = mechanism
- How that function moves, using the sign's element, modality and rulership as context.
- House = life area
- Where the function becomes concrete, which needs a reliable birth time and location.
- Aspect = relationship
- How that function exchanges energy with another through measured geometry and orb.
For example, Moon in Scorpio does not make the entire personality Scorpio-like. It describes the Moon's emotional-regulation function expressed through Scorpio mechanisms, then modified by its house, aspects and the rest of the chart.
What the calculator adds
The route pages explain a combination; the calculator establishes whether that combination is actually present and what surrounds it. A sign is calculated from the local birth date and time. The Moon can require a time-range check near an ingress, while houses and angles require a reliable birth time, location and declared house system.
